There’s Gold In Them Hills

Learn the secrets of Gold Detecting and use them anywhere, anytime you like!
So many times we get asked “where’s the gold”.
If we knew exactly where, then we’d be there every day!

Finding gold is 50% research and 50% luck!

The old saying is “Gold is where you find it” is so true.
You could find the best looking area with all the right indicators and its barren, yet go to an area with none of the right looking rocks and find a nice amount of nuggets.

Our gold tours show you how and where to look.

Our tours are more than just finding gold; they are designed to help you recognize what areas may hold the secrets of the yellow stuff and how to use this knowledge and your detector effectively on your own.

Learn how to find gold anytime you like, without tour guides.

Its great to go on a tour and to be put on a little alluvial patch, wander around for a couple of days, find a few nuggets then go home, but what happens when you take your detectors out again on your own?

No tour person to show you where to find the gold?

Still no idea what you’re looking for?
Back to square one!

Our tours give you insider knowledge!

The aim of our tours is for you to leave with some knowledge of what to do and where to look to find gold, so you can try for gold anywhere you like.

Knowing what to do, and where to do it is like money in the bank for you.

Don’t get me wrong we don’t profess to know it all, no one does, and you never stop learning. But the we are happy to pass on the knowledge we have gained over the years to you. And this will give you the confidence to give it a go on your own.
Now let’s tell you about our tours!

2 Day Tag-Along Tours.

In the 2008 season we are going to be holding 2 day tag-along tours.
So if you have a 4WD and your own detector then read on!

Imagine how it will be:

A cool bush winter.
Driving through amazing outback Western Australia and setting up camp.

An afternoon of detecting then coming back to camp and lighting the fire. Sitting around the camp fire, hearing the sizzle of juicy steaks cooking while chatting about life and what path lead you here.

Enjoy a cuppa under the magnificient starlit sky and smell of the scents of the bush at night, with your new mates.

Good company, beautiful bush and native animals, and with any luck, some precious yellow gold to brag about and take home to show off to friends. Absolute bliss!

Our heart is in the Australian bush and prospecting

We love the bush; we love prospecting and good company, and if you do too, together we'll make your trip memorable, fun, and possibly even profitable.

We are now taking enquires for the 2008 season

We don’t have any set dates and are going to try and work around the dates that suit you! We are also doing 1 day tours which will entail leaving early in the morning and having a full day detecting.

If you are interested in coming along then please email us with some info about yourselves:

  • how long have you been detecting
  • what detector you use
  • approx dates that you’d like to attend
  • how many in your prospecting party
  • any grandparents or children coming along etc.

We hope to see you....
